Accra, Sept. 21, GNA - The National Executive Committee of the Ghana Registered Nurses Association (GRNA) on Tuesday called on its members to continue with their normal duties while the Committee resolved the issues concerning the Additional Duty Hours Allowance (ADHA).

A statement issued in Accra and signed by Mr Kwaku Asante-Krobea, General Secretary of the GRNA, said the decision was taken after a meeting between the Association and the Minister of Health, Dr Kwaku Afriyie on the issue.

It said it was agreed that steps would be taken to correct the distortions in the administration of the ADHA and negotiations would continue with the national executives for a firm decision on outstanding issues.

The statement said various scenarios would be worked out for the consideration by the Minister in response to the demand for increase in the ADHA for nurses.
