Collins SHS Wins Amakye Dede Challenge Cup

Agogo Collins Senior High School crowned champions of the maiden edition of Abrantie Amakye Dede Challenge Cup in Asante Akyem Agogo In the Ashanti region.

The highlife legend who hails from Agogo as part of his social responsibility organised a 2-legged game for Agogo State Senior High School and Collins Senior High School.

He presented the two schools two brand new sets of jerseys each, a set of goal-post net each and four corner flags each.

The first leg was played at the campus of Agogo State College who defeated Collins SHS by two goals to one. Collins SHS won the return leg by a goal to nil making the scoreline 2-2 on aggregate.They were crowned champions by virtue of the away goal rule.

The ''IRON BOY'' hitmaker presented to the winners a gallant trophy, set of medals and a cash prize of GHC1000 whiles the runners up received set of medals and a cash prize of GHC1000.

He promised the competition will be an annual event and will extend the number of the participating schools to all the senior high schools in Asante Akyem.
