Over 2000 Euros Raised In France For Accra Flood And Fire Victims
The Ghanaian Community in France and the Ghana Embassy in France in Partnership, have rounded up a Fundraising and Memorial Service, last 01/07/2015 at La Briche near Paris, for the 3/6/2015 Accra Floods and Fire Victims.
Exactly 2505 Euros were raised. The 505 Euros will be used to pay off part of the expenditure incurred for the organisation.
The National Disaster Management Organisation of Ghana has been charged to identify living victims and families of dead victims. The net fund raised i.e. 2000Euros will therefore be distributed through their expertise. The fund will be sent through the Diaspora Office of the Ghana Embassy.
The attendance was partly affected by the unexpected strike staged by the Public Transport workers in the Paris Region.For all those who were therefore unable to make it, you may still donate through these Phone Numbers : 0620426999 or 0664243081
This is the second time GHACIF has come to the rescue of flood victims in Ghana. The last one was another 2000euros for Northern Ghana flood victims. Ghana Diaspora Fund has been very functional this time.
