Getting It Right

Getting It Right
29.06.2015 LISTEN

Now most of us think that foot wear should match your outfit and guess what, that is absolutely true it should but; the choice of foot wear should be done with some level of care. I know some of us will think of this as trivial but we will find out that we all make the same mistakes.

If you a worker and your job demands that you move about a lot on foot; for instance someone on the marketing team for an insurance company or any company for that matter, you walk around a lot, or if you don’t drive, you don’t have to pick a shoe that has a pointed end or a long end, neither should you pick a shoe that has long heels. It has certain health implications, you could develop waist pains over time and the shoe could collect a lot of dust thus making you seem like a dirty person.

You need something simple, something that can make your movement free and easy, something nice that will match your outfit and something that will also easily fit into any environment be it formal or casual. A pair of loafers is not a bad idea at all

For someone who sits in the office a lot or drives, you can also go in for a pair of loafers or if you crave something classier then you can go in the long beaked shoes and high heels shoes, but not very long and not very high, we are not going hiking.

Loafers easily fit into any setting be it formal or casual but one important thing to note is loafers should not be taken everywhere; a place like a cocktail party or a dinner party where a lot high valued people are expected; some people might look at you as a “small boy” or immature, it won’t hurt to wear something a little classier.

If you want to pick a classy shoe, you can view these shoe names and find your taste.

*derby shoe, oxford shoe, monk strap shoe, loafer (peny, tissle, bit), the dress boot, the Chelsea boot, the chukka boot
