Tema, June 13, GNA - The Importers and Exporters Association of Ghana has asked its members to donate in cash and kind to the victims of flood and fire.
'We wish to appeal to all importers, especially companies which bring in rice, sugar, clothing and other items to donate to the victims for God's blessing.'
A statement signed by Mr Samson Asaki, Executive Secretary of the Association, said, 'This is the time to show our love to our brothers and sisters who are in need of our support. These victims may be our customers, business partners and relatives.'
He asked any importer who wanted to donate to contact the office of the Association for support or to the media houses who were offering their space and airtime for the appeal.
The Association expressed its condolence to the families of the departed and its support for those who sustained injuries as well as those who lost property.
