Ejisu (Ash), Sept 2, GNA - The Ejisu police are looking for Nana Yaw, son of the chief of Kwamo, Nana Amoako Mensah II, for leading a group of armed men to vandalise the house of a Church of Pentecost elder at Kwamo in the Ejisu-Juaben District last Sunday.

The police have also invited the Kwamohene to assist in their investigations into the attack.

The gang, numbering about 25 and led by Nana Yaw, stormed the house of Mr Fredua Agyemang, the Presiding Elder of the Ejisu Church of Pentecost, and destroyed his property.

Briefing the Ghana News Agency on the incident at Ejisu on Wednesday, Inspector E. Danquah, Station Officer in-charge of the Ejisu police station, said there had been a protracted land dispute between the families of Elder Agyemang and the Kwamohene that is pending before a Kumasi High Court.

Inspector Danquah said Elder Agyemang told the police that after the attack Nana Yaw threatened to burn him and his family if he did not withdraw the case from court.
