Helpless and dead, a baby gets a cuddle too late as four young men lead the snuffed out life to its final resting place.

It was a final comfort for a baby, one of about 175 dead as a result of devastating floods and an equally devastating gas explosion Wednesday night.

One wonders the fear and sense of impending danger the baby felt in its final hours of life knowing all it could do was cry, cry and cry.

Babies cannot speak, cannot fight for themselves or survive a tragedy by their own might.
