Sunyani, Aug 27, GNA - Nana Kwadwo Seinti, the Brong Ahafo Regional Minister, has appealed to the business community to avail themselves of opportunities being offered by the Export Development and Investment Fund (EDIF).
He said the Region should explore the numerous export opportunities in agriculture, handicrafts and commerce. Nana Seinti was speaking at the regional launch of the Fund at Sunyani.
The EDIF was established to assist export oriented operators to expand their ventures.
The Regional Minister appealed to beneficiaries to pay back the loans to enable others to benefit. He said: "It will be unfair and morally wrong for beneficiaries to refuse to pay back."
Mr Timothy Kwabena Obeng, Chief Executive of the EDIF said the Fund would be launched in all the regions.
