The Board of Directors of Wapic Insurance (Ghana) Limited has appointed Mr. Adedayo Arowojolu as the new Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer who will oversee the next phase of the company’s growth and evolution.

His appointment took effect in February this year. This appointment follows the redeployment of Mr Razzaq Abiodun who returned to a more senior role in the Group Office effective also in February.

Mr. Arowojolu is an Associate member of the Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria (CIIN). He joins the Board with nearly two decades of insurance experience. He holds a Second Class Upper Degree with a Bachelors of Arts Degree and a Masters Degree in Communications both from the prestigious University of Ibadan. He also holds an MBA from the Lagos State University.

Prior to his appointment as Managing Director/Chief Executive of Wapic Ghana, Mr Arowojolu was the Group Head, Oil and Gas responsible for all Wapic’s the upstream and downstream clients in Nigeria.

With the recent confirmation of his appointment by the National Insurance Commission (NIC) of Ghana, Mr Arowojolu assumes the position of Managing Director/CEO with immediate effect to oversee the next phase of the Company’s growth.

Wapic Insurance (Ghana) Limited is a wholly owned subsidiary of Wapic Insurance Plc. Operating through a network of 6 branches located in major centres across Ghana, the Company provide insurance cover for all classes of insurable risks.
