Nkawie (Ash), Aug 17, GNA- The Tano- Offin forest reserve in the Atwima District of the Ashanti Region, is among 30 forest reserves that have been classified as globally significant biodiversity areas. Mr Nelson Amelordzi, Atwima District Forest Manager, who disclosed this to the Ghana News Agency at a biodiversity awareness campaign at Nkawie, said the new status of the reserve, posed a great challenge for conservation efforts.
