Caring For All Believers!!! It's Our United Obligation To The Lord

Taking care of all of fellow believers is the ultimate command and obligation we owe to God and believers.One does God's will by doing that. That include being each others keeper and doing the works our 'Father' alone shows us, directs or send us to do. Such duties have in the past included God sending Moses to deliver his brothers from the oppression of the Egyptians,building the Tabernacle, Noah building the Ark,David under the anointing of God ruling over the nation of Israel so did Solomon.

The incarnated Christ coming to save us, and many more.The disciples became obedient to Christ in such matters too, and so currently we follow the footsteps of the disciples through Christ in God's economy.We must not be under any illusion that to achieve these comes with human training alone;but only through God who works the abilities in us to achieve the goal God have sett Himself.He anoints us with His presence in us to do His will, you may call it His grace.

Now let us get cracking with the tasks on hand, which is summarising the remaining part of the Book of Ezekiel,expounding its relationship with the economy of God.

Continuing with the Lords' inward recovery of the saints.

Chapter 36:22-33 from my previous sharing, tells us that the Lord has two aspect of recovery for us, His damaged children whom He had recovered from our heathen existence filled with sin, evil, wicked,godless, attitude and characters.

We also learnt of the Lord as the clean or Holy water, which signifies the redeeming blood of Jesus Christ, and is used to cleanse us in two ways or mode. This according to Zech. 13:1 becomes the cleansing fountain The first one being cleansing us from filthiness, including all kinds of sinful things, unrighteous things, and dark things, and from idols. The other one is the total redemption of the sinned person purchased from sin and breaking Satan's hold on them.

We also learnt from the sharing that the Lord gives a new heart and a new spirit. Our heart is our loving organ, and our spirit is the receiving organ. While we are in the fallen or backslid-den state, our heart towards the Lord is stony and hard, with our spirit also deadened(Eph. 2:1;4:18). When the Lord saves us He revives us, He renews our heart, making our stony heart a heart of flesh, a heart that is soft and loving toward the Lord (cf 2 Cor 3:3). Furthermore, He enlivens and renews our spirit with His divine life (Col. 2:13). As a result, we love the Lord and desires Him with our renewed heart, and we can contact Him, receive Him, and contain Him by exercising our renewed heart.

Now join me with much attention and interest; as we continue to expand the Lord's typified move or dealings with Israel, which indeed was the fitting picture of the Lord Jesus Christ's' dealing with us today, in His New Testament era or the economy of the Father. This I will call it as the era of Grace which immensely is the Lord Himself filling and strengthening us to live for the Father, but not by our own efforts or achievements.Our cooperation with Him is absolutely obligatory.

V.27a .As we have learnt, in His recovery by life God does not only gives us a new heart and a new spirit v.26 but also puts His Spirit within us, in our spirit, making the two spirits one spirit (Rom. 8:9,16) and causing us to be one spirit with Him (1 Cor. 6:17)

V.27b. Therefore one must know that God's Spirit within us gives us God's nature, and God's nature correspond to God's law. Because we have God's nature within us (2 Pet. 1:4), we are able to keep His law spontaneously by walking according to our regenerated spirit, which is indwelt by the Holy Spirit (Rom. 8:4; Gal. 5:16,22-23).I pray your spiritual insight in such matters get to the point where God wants each of us to be, in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

From chapters 34-36, the Lord intend to make the land which we have entered be like the Garden of Eden.This is despite the Amalachite,Jabusite and many more difficulties we may encounter. We ought to draw on the faith similar to that of Joshua and Caleb,part of the twelve sent to spy on the promised land.It is therefore wrong for the 'money conscious human organized church' to promise believers that all will be roses when you come to their kind of 'church'.If one suffers from a painful disease, it will be wrong for a physician to suggest to such a patient that its treatment will be pain free and without side effect.

By believing in what the Lord has achieved for us we live in this nature which is God's own nature.We live above sins, and therefore becomes God's own Children as we were originally created in His image and likeness. As the Lord has redeemed and cleansed us from our uncleanliness, He becomes our supply and abundance suffering no famine !!! hallelujah. Hence we posses both the nature and wisdom of God, which when placed constantly under His authority; our planning and dealings will be sweet favour to God and most beneficial to man.

With such a favoured life-giving spirit, we will come to realise how our past deeds have been evil, and therefore makes our new man's status worthwhile. You will pray without ceasing that the Lord will save you from revisiting such smelly past life.Which we often do, but this should diminish with how much of Christ is infused in us. V. 32 says partly that, “ it is not for your sake ( Israel) alone that I am doing this,”this confirms as I have restated earlier that our sharing was a type of dealing with God and His people.

This shows that even at that time and place the Lord had us (the new-man) in mind. Our cleansing and tilling indicates that, the Lord had the ambition to deal with us in His economy.The result of which will include, making us fertile, and increasing as many people that He will have hitherto pre-destined to be His. In these people starting from Adam and Eve, He will eventually settle us all, and also dwell permanently in us, and we in Him.
