State oil operator, GNPC, has indicated that it is withdrawing investments from some sectors.
The corporation, which was previously a regulator for the oil exploration sector, has now moved on to be player.
It currently holds strategic investments in Airtel Ghana, a mining firm, Prestea Sankofa Gold, a motel at a Mole National Park as well as from other institutions.
Chief Executive of the GNPC, Alex Mould told Joy Business that the move has been influenced by plans to focus on its core business of oil exploration.
