Wenchi (B/A), Aug. 14, GNA- Mr George Amanor-Kyeremeh, Wenchi District Director of Education has dedicated a 40-million cedi school block constructed by the Istiquaama Muslim Organisation, Ghana, at Wenchi.
He commended the Government for subsidising school fees in 40 deprived districts throughout the country with effect from September 1, this year.
Mr Amanor-Kyeremeh commended the Muslim organisation for providing school infrastructure and other facilities in the area.
Nana Baafo Otuo Owusu Ansah-Agyarpong, Anantahene of Wenchi Traditional Area, assured the organisation that the traditional authorities were ready to release land for projects. Sheikh Umar Adam Suleman, Director of the organisation said their aim was to promote education in the country.
