GHALCA appoint knock-out match officials

Accra, August 12, GNA - Referee Ibrahim Iddrissu has been appointed by the Ghana League Clubs Association (GHALCA) to officiate in the special knockout game involving Kumasi Asante Kotoko and Tano Bofoakwa at the Sunyani Coronation park on Sunday.

The Tamale-based referee would be assisted by A.S. Seidu and Mumuni Issaka on lines one and two respectively whilst G. B Awuakye from Accra will act as the match commissioner.

Referee Joshua Mensah is expected to take the centre stage when Brong Ahafo United and premier league debutants Real Sportive lock horns in the first match at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday.

He is to be assisted by F. B Arthur and Emmanuel Adjartor on the lines with Lt. Col Amengor(Rtd) from Accra as the match cvommissioner.

Referee G. K. Manu will be in the middle when Okwawu United welcomes Power FC to their favourite Mpraeso Park with E. K Asente and Akwasi Appiah assisting from the lines and Ken Jonfiah from Accra as the match commissioner.

When Coca Cola Top Four Champions, King Faisal host Sekondi Hasaacas at the Kumasi Sports Stadium, Accra-based E. Furgeson would be in control of the game with Francis Andoh and Ashitey Armah assisting him on the lines and Clement Ashong from Accra as the match commissioner.

Feyenoord and Accra Great Olympics would clash at the nation's Wembley on Sunday where referee G.K. Zorve has been mandated to handle the game with E. T Allotey and Tabi Amponsah as his assistants and Jordan Anagblah as the match commissioner.

At Kpando, E.Q.M. Osamquaye of Accra will officiate the duel between Kpando Heart of Lions and Real Tamale United (RTU) together with his counterparts T.A. Brown and M.A. Dawutey while Oteng-Aboagye from Accra is the match commissioner.

The AshantiGold and Hearts of Oak's duel at Obuasi would be handled by Referee R.M. Kwaning from Takoradi with his assistant crew of S. K. Baah and Reuben Laryea from Tarkwa assisting him on the lines while the match commissioner is C.K. Yeboah from Kumasi.

The Liberty Professionals encounter against Berekum Arsenals at the Accra Sports stadium on Saturday will be handled by Referee S. Essel Walker from Cape Coast to be assisted on the lines by J. Dawson Amoah and V.R. Owusu also from cape coast while the match commissioner is Yaw La Danso from Accra.
