Having failed in their numerous attempts to salvage the sinking image and fortune of their corporation, workers of Ghana Airways have turned to divine solutions.
A notice sighted by the EVENING NEWS yesterday indicates that the workers and management would hold a prayer session on Saturday August 7, 2004 from 9-12 noon at the Ghana Airways Training School.
The notice further informed workers and the public that the prayer session would be on a theme crafted from Psalm 102 verse 13 which states, “Thou shall arise and have mercy.”
An exhortation also stated, “Men ought to pray and need not to faint.”
A handwritten plea ostensibly coming from a worker cried, “God help Ghana Airways”.
The notice concluded, “Come and be blessed.”
It would be recalled that the management of Ghana Airways under Mr. Philip Owusu, last year organised a similar programme to ostracise the corporation from the pernicious perils that had afflicted it over the years.
