Join Me For A-21-Day Intercessory Prayer For Nigeria For The March 28, 2015 Presidential Election

The spiritual warfare currently raging between God, Good and Light versus Satan, Evil and Darkness in Nigeria will not be won by mere wishful thinking. Victory will not be for those on the Lord's Side by fighting this war with carnality, newspaper articles, sensible reasoning and cognitive ability. The forces of evil and retrogression in Nigeria will not go down without a nasty fight, because they have stolen a lot, lack decency and are far way too gone.

As David told Goliath in 1 Samuel 17: 45: “David said to the Philistine, "You come against me with sword and spear and javelin, but I come against you in the name of the LORD Almighty, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied.” Consequently, if you love Nigeria and do not want our nation to implode and unravel this year, you must do the right spiritual thing and pray for Nigeria so we can push back the forces of Darkness and evil.

I went through the horrors of the June 12, 1993 political logjam and spent 24 agonizing months in Abacha's Gulag between 1997 and 19918. The only answer to that political crisis was our fervent prayer and cries to the sovereign Lord God Almighty to spare our land of death and blood. The Lord God Almighty answered our prayers and evil was chased away. Although I am here in the United States of America far away from home from the raging inferno, and even as a United States citizen, yet Nigeria is still my land of birth.

The current fog of death, destruction and anarchy looming over our nation can be defeated, if only we the redeemed children of God can lift up our voices and call on the Most High God to intervene in our nation's life. Will you join hands with me as a Nigerian wherever you may be to pray and intercede for our motherland? Can you spare 21 days of your time out of the 365 days in this year 2015 to stand in the gap for Nigeria? Please in the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, join me and pray this prayer for 21 days for our native land.

Every spirit in heaven and on earth and down below bow down and worship You. You were the One who created the heavens and the earth and all that in them. By Your spoken words you spoke them into existence and they came to be. Glory, honor and adoration are yours. You are the Jehovah Jireh, the Jehovah Nissi, the JerohElohin, the Jehovah Maranatha,

The Ancient of Days, the Lion of the Tribe of Judah, the King of kings and Lord of lords; Blessed by Your Name forever and ever, Amen. The heavenly hosts bow down to You and worship in Your Tabernacle in heaven, the 24 Elders lay down their golden crowns at Your feet, the Four Living creatures are full of praise and worship, the guardian angels, the cherubim and seraphim and countless angels they surround Your majestic throne in the highest of heavens and day and night they do not stop praising, worshiping and glorifying Your Name.

Heavenly Father, I thank You for creating me for a purpose, I lift up my head and worship You, because You are good, kind and gracious. There is no God like You. All those fallen angels that say their gods are no gods, because they have eyes they cannot see, have ears they cannot hear, have nose but can't smell, have legs but can't walk and have mouths but they cannot talk. You are the only True Lord God Almighty who is worthy to be praised. Thank You Eternal Father and thank You for my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, Your only-begotten Son, the only Messiah, my Redeemer and the Horn of my salvation.

Jesus Christ, I worship and praise You for saving my soul; thank You for shedding Your blood on the Cross to redeem me. You paid the supreme sacrifice by dying on the Cross for my sin and the sins of the world. You brought me back home to my Loving and Gracious Father and through Your blood atonement on the Cross, I can come to the throne of grace and to the Presence of the Lord God Almighty today and always without let or hindrance. For this wonderful grace, I bow down and worship. Thank You Jesus Christ of Nazareth for writing my name in the Lamb's Book of Life. Because You died and resurrected again three days later, I know Jesus Christ that I was dead and rose again as You did and thus will not need to die and be separated from the Almighty Father because, You Jesus paid it all. My sins have been forgiven and today I am a redeemed child of the Living God. Hallelujah!

Thank You Jesus Christ for there is evidence of my eternal salvation and redemption in the Person of the Holy Spirit, the Third Person in the Trinity. Holy Spirit, I worship You, I adore and humble myself in Your Holy Presence. For You are the Third in Trinity, the Spirit of Truth and Peace. You're the Greater One in me than the one that is in the world.

Holy Spirit, may I not grieve You, may You always have Your way in my life in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen. Holy Spirit, I worship You and pay obeisance, thank You for You are my friend, companion and acquaintance. I thank You for Your wisdom knowledge and understanding; I praise You for Your protection and Love. May You continue to reign and have preeminence in my life in the Mighty Name of Jesus, Amen.

Heavenly Father, it is not by accident that You created me as a Nigerian for Your Words say in Acts 17: 26 that: You created the whole world “From one man he made all the nations, that they should inhabit the whole earth; and he marked out their appointed times in history and the boundaries of their lands;” thus You didn't make a mistake when You created me and placed my family and my kindred in the beautiful land called and known as Nigeria. There is a reason You did this and whether Satan and his demons including their human agents like it or not, the reason why You created me and put me in the land known as Nigeria shall be fulfilled in the Mighty Name of Jesus, Amen. Lord God, I thank You for the abundant blessings You have bestowed on my nation, Nigeria.

You are wonderful and gracious in creating this beautiful nation called Nigeria. You gave us oil, gold, diamonds, bauxite, cocoa, palm oil, groundnuts, iron ore, cotton and all natural resources ever placed in the care of human beings. You gave us arable land, good weather, the sun that shines in its season, the rain that falls in due season and the beauty of heavens under the sun in all their due seasons and You created us as Nigerians with abilities, drive, intelligence, reason, intellect, can-do-spirit and You put Your fear into us as a people. You did more and continue to do more O, Lord. But our enemies that are raised up by Satan within us do not want Nigeria grow. Few and tiny Nigerian elites, cornered by Satan and his demons have taken over the Nigerian commonwealth. In the midst of Your abundant blessing and grace for the beautiful land of Nigeria, there is an infinitesimal clique that has bandied together to suck life out of the Nigerian nation. This Luciferous phalanx is holding majority of Nigerian hostage. They steal, kill murder, maim and destroy.

There is so much that can go round in Nigeria among your people to satisfy every Nigerian's need, but this devilish lecherous clique has cornered the commonwealth to satisfy their egocentric selfish greed. Lord, first I want to confess the sins of my Nigerian forefathers as You said in Your word in 2 Chronicles 7: 14: “If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land. Now my eyes will be open and my ears attentive to the prayers offered in this place.”

There is so much blood, innocent blood that has been shed in my nation. Our leaders made us to sin. Beginning from 1960 when we gained independence, our leaders steal, kill, pillage and destroy. They turned women into widows, ravaged the land during the senseless Nigerian-Biafra Civil War; innocent souls were butchered and killed, the wombs of pregnant women were ripped open, children were turned into orphans, women became widows and scores became fatherless. Justice, fairness, integrity, honestly and righteousness disappeared from our land. The demon of Mammon took over and love for oneself became the rule. No one seeks Your face anymore and foreign gods and demonic spirits took over the Nigerian nation.

Today, Lord God, I have come before You as Your redeemed soul to plead and stand in the gap for my nation, Nigeria. I confess the sins of my forefathers and my own sins and the misdemeanors of our leaders which have brought our nation to this terribly sorry state. Many of my country men and women have deserted the beautiful land known as Nigeria for far-flung areas of the world, because of the sins of our leaders which have made things bad and worse for our land. Our economy is in tatters, our education system is dead, our infra-structure is a mess, our national currency, the Nigerian Naira is not worth more than a toilet paper, we have become the scorn of other lands, our leaders do not know their right from their left, jokers and unserious souls now preside over our affairs and the name Nigeria draws opprobrium and scorn across the globe.

Every Nigeria is a suspect and a shady character and the Nigerian name which used to be a plus is now an anathema and something to be derided and poked fun at across the world. All these happened to us, because of our sins. Oppression, injustice, idolatry, fornication, covetousness, stealing, lying and other vices permeate our land. Heavenly Father, I have come before You to seek Your face and ask for Your grace. Forgive Nigeria her sins in the Mighty Name of Jesus, Amen. Heal our land and restore us back to You, O Lord. Stretch Your hand of justice and healing and cleanse our land in the Mighty Name of Jesus, Amen. For the sake of the elect, for those of us who are called by Your Name, stop the looming danger threatening our land in the Mighty Name of Jesus, Amen.

How did we get to this sorry state? How did a once-prosperous nation become this shrinking and prostrate mess? Where did we get it wrong, O Lord? I know as a Nigerian that Satan fully hijacked my nation during the regime of one man that I am calling out to report to You, O Lord; his name is General Ibrahim BadamasiBabangida. This man has done a lot of havoc on our nation more than any Nigerian leader combined. He is still around as a magus of high satanic principality doing damage to our nation.

He killed innocent blood, turned many children into orphans, many women into widows, many fathers into widowers, and killed many innocent souls in our land. He destroyed our national ethics and introduced drug running as a way of life. You said it in Your Word in Psalm 37: 1-2: “Do not fret because of those who are evil or be envious of those who do wrong;For they will wither quickly like the grass And fade like the green herb.…” You also said it in Your unchanging Word, O Lord in Proverbs 11: 21: “Be sure of this: The wicked will not go unpunished.” The scripture cannot be broken. This man, Mr. Ibrahim BadamsiBabangida must not go unpunished.

Stretch Your Hands of Justice into Nigeria once again as You did on June 8, 1998 when You took Gen. SaniAbacha out without a shot fired, take out General Ibrahim BademosiBabangida out this year in the Mighty Name of Jesus, Amen. Today, this month, this week, this day, this hour and this second, kill General Ibrahim BademosiBabangida in the Mighty Name of Jesus, Amen. This man has done enough damage to our nation. It is time for him to die. He must die in the Precious Name of Jesus, Amen.

Heavenly Lord God Almighty, the Overseer of the heavens, even the highest of the heavens and the earth and all that are in them, You said it in Your Word, in Obadiah 1: 15: "The day of the LORD is near for all nations. As you have done, it will be done to you; your deeds will return upon your own head.” This man, Ibrahim BademosiBabangida killed many innocent souls in my nation; he made some children fatherless, so turn his own children into fatherless children in the Mighty Name of Jesus, Amen. This man, Ibrahim Bademosi Babangida murdered innocent souls and his hands are dripping with the blood of numerous Nigerians, so I pray in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ that this year, this month, this week, this day, this hour and this second, all the evils that Gen Ibrahim Bademosi Babangida has committed should be visited upon him and his children and grandchildren in the Mighty Name of Jesus, Amen. You said in Your Word, O Lord in Numbers 14: 18: “The LORD is slow to anger, abounding in love and forgiving sin and rebellion. Yet he does not leave the guilty unpunished; he punishes the children for the sin of the parents to the third and fourth generation.'

There is no food in the land, our young men and women are unemployed, millions are roaming the streets, millions cannot afford three square meals a day, millions still are homeless, young women and married women and mothers have turned to prostitution in order to make ends meet, able-bodied boys and girls have become armed robbers and area boys in order to keep body and soul together, civil servants who work are not being paid as at and when due, we turn out thousands of young college and university graduates every year with nothing for them to do, our people do not have water to drink, thousands die yearly on avoidable and preventable accidents, because public money has been stolen and embezzled, two third of the Nigerian land is perpetually in darkness, because our leaders have stolen the money to provide stable and constant power supply to our people, scores die periodically and in fact every day because we do not have well-functioning and well-equipped medical facilities and hospitals, veterans and pensioners who have put in all their lives' works cannot get their money, because the money have been stolen, the law is now for the highest bidder, life is brutish and nasty for the generality of our people and the Nigerian nation stinks to high heavens. This year, this month, this season, this week, this day, this hour and this second, change our nation and let Nigeria shine in the Precious Name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

Now as for President Goodluck Jonathan, I pray that he will listen to You and do the right thing and vacate the post for someone after Your heart in the Mighty Name of Jesus, Amen. This year, this month, this season, this week, this day, this hour and this second in Nigeria, we will never and shall never have a repeat of the ugly episode of the June 12, 1993 political crisis in Nigeria in the Precious Name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

All those that are plotting secretly or openly with the above named troublers of Nigeria to cause havoc, mayhem, abort the peoples' vote and light the fire of evil, mayhem and political instability in Nigeria, O Lord God Almighty gather all of them together and turn them into ashes in the Precious Name of Jesus, Amen. Those that You will raise up in this election to run the affairs of Nigeria will be genuinely God-fearing souls, humble and dedicated public office holders who want to do right by our people. They will rule with justice, fairness and humility.

Their hearts will not be haughty against You and they will use the resources that You have lovingly bestowed on us and blessed Nigeria with to serve Your people. Let righteousness reign O Lord. For Professor AttahiruJega, chairman of the INEC, steel this man against narassment, intimidation and fear in the Mighty Name of Jesus, Amen. All those that are planning to foment trouble will never succeed in Nigeria this time in the Precious Name of Jesus, Amen. I pray for all the staff of INEC and cover every one of them with the Blood of Jesus. They will go out fearlessly and conduct these forthcoming elections peacefully and do the right thing in the Mighty Name of Jesus, Amen.

Every demonic spirit of war, sabotage, chaos, high-handedness and injustice are destroyed in Nigeria in the Mighty Name of Jesus, Amen. I pray for the members of the Armed Forces and the service chiefs. Eternal Father, let Gen.
