Oblogo (GAR), July 1, GNA - An Accra Businessman, Nana Adu Boahene, is assisting the people of Oblogo with building materials worth 20 million cedis and cash donation of 10 million cedis to construct a 200 million cedis KVIP and a bath-house. project already in progress in the town at a ceremony on Thursday.

The items, donated at a ceremony on Thursday, included 50 bags of cements, 70 pieces of woods and one ton of iron rods.

Nana Boahene said the donation was to support the chief and people's efforts to assist in the early completion of the project and appealed to other residents in the area to support it.

Nii Kwaku Bibini III, chief of Oblogo and major financier of the project, commended Nana Boahene for his immense contribution to the people and expressed the hope that Non-Governmental Organisations would also provide similar support.

He alleged that the District Assembly had not been fair with Oblogo in terms of allocation of resources, adding that all the projects undertaken in the town were through self-help initiatives. Nii Bibini called on the Assembly to extend development projects to ensure equal distribution of the District's resources.
