Ghanaian voters have been urged to join the 2016 vehicle of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) for the presidential and parliamentary elections to avoid disappointment, Mr. Kofi Senkyire, Fmr. Ashanti Regional Executive of the NPP, told members of the Toronto Chapter at its monthly meeting in Toronto on Sunday. October 26. 2014.

Mr. Senkyire hoped Ghanaians would embrace the call because the flag bearer of their choice has been elected and the NPP has placed the party'smachinery in motion and was expecting members, supporters and sympathizers as well to hurry up and join the band-wagon.

He emphasised that whoever fails to join the vehicle as soon as possible would have himself to blame.

Mr. Senkyire appealed to Ghanaians to compare the eight years reign of NPP under the administration of John Agyekum Kufuor with that of the late President Atta Mills and the current President John Dramani Mahama. After this careful examination, Ghanaians must not hesitate to vote massively for Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo in 2016.

Mr. Senkyire appealed to all Chapters of the Diaspora to either settle their differences or bury them before the vehicle moves on.

In an answer to a question, Mr. Senkyire regretted that the current parliament has not handled Bills that come to the floor of parliament, which are easily passed without proper scrutiny, adding that foreign newspapers and radio stations have commented adversely about it.

Welcoming Hon. Senkyire, Mr. Christian Akyempon, Toronto Chapter Chairman and First Vice-Chairman of the Canada Branch, said Ghanaians must firmly support Nana Akufo-Addo to ensure that Nana Akufo-Addo deserved their vote in the 2016 elections.

Mr. Akyempon emphasised that the country Ghana was gradually sinking and the country needed somebody like Nana Akufo-Addo to salvage the situation.

The country abounds in many natural resources and yet the government is leading Ghanaians to complain of poverty. This is due to reckless and careless mismanagement, Mr. Akyemponadded.
