Over the past 7 years, the Leadership Empowerment Consult (LEC), now LEC Foundation has contributed to transforming the lives of over 25000 young people through its annual conference - Success Africa - all over the country.

Success Africa is a motivational, career and youth development programme which creates a platform for young people to gain knowledge from the rich experience of diverse speakers from various industries in Ghana to enable young people make informed decisions for their lives for maximum and positive impact in society.

The theme for this year's Success Africa is “Living your Dream”.  “The conference will explore on how participants can dream big and have realistic dreams for their career and life and also help them identify ways to make their dreams come true,” Albert Kusi Director and Founder of LEC Foundation said in statement.

This year conference is expected to bring over 50 tertiary institutions to four different regional locations: University of Cape Coast for the Central Region on the 11 th October, 2014; KNUST for the Ashanti Region on 18 th October, 2014; University for Development Studies- Tamale campus for the Northern Region on 25 th October, 2014; and University of Ghana for Greater Accra on 1 st November, 2014.

The conference is organized by LEC Foundation; a youth development organization with a focus on empowering the next generation of African leaders and entrepreneurs with quality and life transforming information aimed at assisting them to make informed decisions about their lives. The Foundation has for the past seven years empowered young entrepreneurs and leaders in Ghana, Nigeria and Liberia through career development programmes like the “Success Africa”, “After school, What's Next” and many others.

The 2014 edition of Success Africa is being organized in collaboration with Tigo Ghana with support from key partners like First Capital Plus Bank, CIM UK Ghana and Safina Mineral Water.

This year's resource persons  include Kofi Mensah of First Capital Plus Bank, KSM, Obafemi Banigbe of Tigo, David Ganesha of Cal Brokers, Rev. Sam Korankye Ankra of Royal House Chapel International,  Dr. Stephen Enchil of HMI and Emmanuel Dei Tumi, the convener, Mr. Albert Kusi, Executive Director of LEC Foundation and many others.

The resource persons, according to the statement, share experiences and knowledge on Leadership, Entrepreneurship and Career development. Workshops on the three thematic areas (Leadership, Entrepreneurship and Career Development) will be conducted at a breakout sessions to allow participants have time to explore the various issues within the three chosen areas.

“This year's Success Conference is opened to all students in the various tertiary institutions. All tertiary students within each region are invited to converge for the conference in the designated venues in the regions,” the statement added.
