NDC Man Curses Journalist

The NDC guru reportedly called into Adas FM's Morning Show programme on Thursday and rained curses on the host, Emmanuel Quarshie, aka Hitman.

DAILY GUIDE gathered that Mr Ali Nkrumah invoked the powerful 'Buokyerewa' Shrine at Techiman to kill Hitman for claiming on air that he (Ali) was seen distributing mobile phones to delegates at Babator, near Kintampo, in connection with the party's constituency primaries held on Thursday.

Hitman, confirming the incident to DAILY GUIDE, said he feared for his life and his family because he did not know what might happen to him, spiritually and physically, following the pronouncements of the NDC bigwig.

According to the journalist, during the morning show, some informants called into the programme and alleged that they had seen the NDC financier distributing mobile phones to some delegates to vote for his preferred candidates in the constituency elections.

He explained that he made personal efforts to contact Mr Ali to respond to the allegations, adding that just as they were trying to reach him, Ali called into the programme and invoked the curses on him without any provocation.

The paper learnt that after the programme, a delegation of NDC officials led by the constituency's Communications Officer, Agya Adu, aka 2-Pady, came to the station to apologise on behalf of their party father for his reckless pronouncements on air.

The paper also gathered that Mr Ali later called the director of the station and publicly apologised and retracted the curses on air.

Meanwhile the NDC financier, when contacted at press time on Thursday for his side of the story, could not speak to the issue because he was supervising the constituency elections.

It will be recalled that the Municipal Chief Executive for Kintampo, Justice Michael Baffoe, on May Day invoked similar curses on popular Ghanaian hip-life artiste Guru and Hitman over the proceeds of a musical show staged by the hip-life artiste in partnership with the Municipal Assembly.
