Ghana Stock Index in modest gain

Accra, June 2, GNA - The GSE All-Share, the market measure, on Wednesday gained a modest 5.31 points to close at 6,858.31 points in an active market that saw eight positive price changes. Change Year to Date is now at 93.01 per cent.

Traded volumes were higher at 165,900 shares from 74,100 shares on Monday.

There were eight price positive changes.

Clydstone (ClYD) gained 20 cedis at 600 cedis, Camelot (CMLT) made five cedis at 675 cedis, Cocoa Processing Company gained 10 cedis at 1,750 cedis, Enterprise Insurance Company (EIC) was up one cedi at 17,306 cedis.

FanMilk gained 100 cedis at 7,200 cedis, Guinness Ghana Limited (GGL) was up seven cedis at 12,107 cedis, SG-SSB was richer five cedis at 31,055 cedis and UNIL up 18 cedis at 20,688 cedis. Market Capitalisation went up at 96,454.90 billion cedis as against 96,441.28 billion cedis from 3,301.08 million issued shares.
