NDC USA Unperturbed By NPP-USA Organized Anti-Mahama Demonstrations

The NDC USA wishes to state that it remains unperturbed by demonstrations which have been and are being organized by NPP USA against President Mahama in the USA in recent times. The NDC USA Executive Committee notes that these demonstrations are organized by known NPP USA members and this has been behavior exhibited by the organization since His Excellency John Mahama was elected as President.

It is apparent that rather than these actions been born of a desire to see Ghana's progress it is merely a result ofa narrow political persuasion and a desire to besmear and detract from the hard work and efforts at nation building of the current Mahama administration.

Fortunately, these demonstrations have been poorly attended with less than twenty persons taken part at any occasions.

The NDC USA acknowledges that Ghana is currently facing some economic challenges; we however retain faith in the leadership of President Mahama and the measures he has instituted to put Ghana on a path of consistent economic growth and stability.

We note that not too long ago the USA itself had to take measures to overcome economic challenges, and it currently appears to have recovered because of prudent measures taken.

It is our hope that the President's meeting with his US counterpart bears fruit which will aid in his efforts to stabilize and bring continued growth to Ghana's economy. It is also our hope that Ghanaians will see through the prolific demonstrations of NPP USA and see them for the waste of time that they are.
