Manchester United are set to look elsewhere for the midfielder they so crave after the £62 million valuation of Arturo Vidal by Juventus.

The Italian side want £50 million in cash plus £12 million rated Nani despite the Portuguese signing a new contract at Old Trafford recently. Juventus also want left back Patrice Evra and may include the France defender in their negotiations.

Manchester United are set to leave the Vidal chase leaving Arsenal and Bayrn Munich as the major suitors for the Chilean.

The Red Devils will look to the cheaper alternative in William Carvalho of Sporting Lisbon who is set to cost £43 million after their sporting director said any club would have to meet the buy-out clause.

Ghanaian Players
AC Milan are preparing to sell Ghanaian midfielder Michael Essien according to reports from Tuttosport. The Italian club are willing to cash in on the former Chelsea player for a fee in the region of £3.2 million to fund their pursuit of Napoli's Blerim Dzemaili.
