President Kufuor to dump VP Aliu Mahama?

President J.A. Kufuor and his family “Kitchen Cabinet” of brother-in-law Senior Minister J.H. Mensah, little brother Defence Minister Dr. Addo-Kufuor, nephew D.K. Osei and personal confidante Gabby Nketia also known as Gabby Nicky Valdo of Ganiva Battery Centre fame, have met and decided that Vice President Aliu Mahama as an Abudu of the Dabgon State has become a liability as far as the Dagomba votes are concerned, and have therefore decided to dump him and replace him with Dr. Yakubu Saaka, currently visiting Professor at the Political Science Department of the University of Ghana, a leading member of the PNC and Deputy Foreign Minister in Hilla Limann's PNP Government of the Third Republic.

An Andani with an impeccable CPP lineage; that discreet approaches have already been made to the Professor who has not exactly shown disinterest but who has indicated that he may have to discuss the issue with his Party leader Dr. Edward Mahama first before making up his mind?
