Ghana midfielder Dede Ayew was ranked among the 11-man squad named by the Federation of International Football Association after the first round of the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.

The  11 players were selected according to their performances in their various positions after the first round ended.

In post was Vincent Enyeama of Nigeria who topped all the goalkeepers to make the list,  Mehrdad Pooladi of Iran, David Luiz of Brazil, Phil Jagielka of England, Geoff Cameroon will complete the defence, in midfield is Hector Herrera of Mexico, Xherdan SHAQIRI of Switzerland, James Rodriquez of Colombia, Andre Dede Ayew of Ghana and in attack is Thomas Muller of Germany and Robben Van Persie of Netherlands

The player rating was done by Castrol, Official Sponsor of the 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil, experts in using pioneering technology and data analysis to understand the performance of their oils and have used similar expertise to create the Castrol Index, the definitive system for rating player performance.
