Bishop lauds unity among Christians in Northern Ghana

GNA

Tamale (N/R), May 10, GNA- The Presiding Bishop of the Methodist Church Ghana, the Most Rev. Dr. Robert Kwasi Aboagye-Mensah, has commended unity that existed among Christians in the three Northern regions.

He noted "let the unity to serve as a challenge and encouragement to the people who are in conflict to forgive one another and be united to allow prosperity to flourish".

Bishop Aboagye-Mensah was preaching at the Bethel Methodist Cathedral in Tamale on Sunday to round off his six-day tour of the Diocese in the Upper East, West and the Northern regions.

He said Jesus Christ had handled all conflicts when he united the Jews and the Samaritans and urged the people to emulate him.

The Bishop advised Christians to continue to build unity and promote peace in the country.
