Mpasatia (Ash), May 3, GNA - Mohammed Salifu, a 52-year-old night watchman of the Mpasatia Junior Secondary School (JSS) near Nkawie in the Atwima district, was found dead in the bush at Mpasatia last Thursday.
Mallam Abdul Kassim, the junior brother of the deceased who briefed the GNA about the incident said his brother popularly known as 'Sammy Young', after close of work was engaged by a farmer to work on his farm.
Mallam Kassim said the deceased went to the farm with another labourer and did not return home until he was found dead the following day.
When the GNA contacted the Nkawie police, they confirmed the story and said they were investigating the matter. Meanwhile, the body of Salifu has since been buried after post-mortem examination.
