Accra, April 22, GNA - The Board of the Management Development and Productivity Institute (MDPI) has not been dissolved, Mr Kwadwo O. Mpiani, Chief of Staff said in Accra on Thursday. In a statement issued from the Office of the President and signed by Mr Mpiani pointed out that there was no iota of truth in a news report purporting that the MPDI Board had been dissolved.
Mr Mpiani further stated that there was no factual basis in a statement alleging that the Acting Director and the Deputy Director have also been removed from office, with Mr G. Osei-Tutu Darkwah taking over as the Acting Director of the MDPI.
"The letter that purports to be the source of the news report is a complete forgery, and the security agencies have been requested to investigate this serious criminal act," the Chief of Staff declared.
