The founder and the owner of King Faisal Football Club, Alhaji Karim Grunsah has noted that the Football Association would make great strides under the Chairmanship of Dr. Nyaho~Tamakloe.

In an exclusive interview with SPACE FM, Grunsah explained that his desire to become the vice Chairman of the Association has been reignited by the appointment of the Medical Practitioner into the 'hot seat'.

Alhaji Grunsah who is vying for the GHALCA vice chairmanship position is currently on campaign tour to Volta Region to canvass for more votes during GHALCA Congress scheduled to take place later this month. He has already been to Ashanti and Brong Ahafo Regions.

Grunsah deplored the state of Ghana football and said it needs someone of Tamakloe's calibre to reverse the situation.

Dr. Nyaho~Tamakloe is affectionately referred to as 'Soccer Revolutionist' as a result of the tough measures he took to rid Accra Hearts of Oak of indiscipline senior players in the mid~80s.

On the Confederation Cup second leg tie against Power Dynamos of Zimbabwe on Saturday, Grunsah said the visitors would not be underrated in any way. He called on all Ghanaians to rally behind the 'Insha Allahu' boys since the game is a national assignment.

Meanwhile, Grunsah has denied with vehemence the rumour in town that King Faisal owes its former coach Hans Dieter Schmidt $20,000. He said he does not want to be drawn into public debate since the matter is before GFA. When pressed further, he disclosed that the team owes Schmidt $2300. “I'm prepared to meet Schmidt anywhere any day”, he fumed.
