Kumasi, April 21, GNA- A 48-page brochure on the achievement of the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II since he ascended the Golden Stool five years ago, was on Wednesday launched at the Manhyia Palace.

The brochure, which contains some significant and memorable pictures of the Asantehene on some occasions and events, was produced by Yankah and Associates, media consultants to the Manhyia Palace. The launching of the brochure coincided with the 'Awukudae Som', which formed part of the activities marking the Asanteman 'Adae Kese' festival and the fifth anniversary of the enstoolment of the Asantehene as the 16th occupant of the Golden Stool.

In an address, Mr Kojo Yankah, Chief Executive Officer of the Yankah and Associates, said Otumfuo had re-energised and enhanced the prestige of the chieftaincy institution since he ascended the Golden Stool.

He said Otumfuo had brought honour and dignity to Asanteman and Ghana in general resulting in a number of awards and recognitions from both local and international organizations.

Mr Yankah said Otumfuo's distinguished leadership skills and performance had attracted many well-meaning individuals and corporate bodies who always trooped to the Manhyia Palace to congratulate him. He said the brochure was part of the publicity plans to expose the achievement of the Asantehene and the Asante culture to the outside world.

Barima Asumadu Sakyi II, Kumawuhene and chairman of the 'Adae Kese' Planning Committee, thanked Mr Yankah for coming out with the brochure and said the company had helped in tremendous ways in the management of the event.
