The Senior Minister, and Member of Parliament for Sunyani East, J H Mensah has explained that his desire to serve his constituency and the country as a whole is what motivates him to seek the mandate of the people to represent them at parliament.

He told SPACE FM that his decades of rich Political experience coupled with his personal contribution to the Development of Parliament Democracy, no doubt puts him in a strategic position to contribute to the country's Economic and Political Development, hence his decision to seek the NPP's endorsement at the primaries.

He says the NPP government, like a nursing mother, has all Ghanaians at heart and would not endanger the life of Ghanaians as being speculated round by some unscrupulous politicians.

He said that aforestation is one major problem facing the country at the moment therefore, the NPP has taken upon itself to replenish those depleted forest; hence aforestation programme.

He says ever since the NPP government assumed office, it has tried its best to provide portable water for the people of Ghana of which Brong-Ahafo is not exempted, including other amenities like roads hospital schools.

The Minister conclude that the black and white photo I D card for the coming election is not only to prevent ghost names but also to prevent the unfaithful people from voting twice and cheat in the elections.
