Inspector Yaw Nketia-Yeboah told the Ghana News Agency that on that day the three accompanied friends to the beach to have fun as it was the normal practice during festivities.

He said between 1300 hours and 1400 hours the friends detected the disappearance of the three and a search was conducted for them but without success.

Their bodies were washed ashore the following day and conveyed to the Korle Bu Hospital.

Every Easter Monday the Mighty Beach claims lives of holidaymakers in Tema.
