By EXPO AFRICA,

Following the success of GHANA EXPO 2003 organised by EXPO AFRICA LTD., the next edition of the trade and investment exhibition and seminar will take place in Atlanta, in the State of Georgia, USA.

The stage is set for a trade and investment exhibition & conference that promises to be bigger and better. The 4 day event themed: 'ENHANCING US-GHANA TRADE, A FUTURE OF ENDLESS OPPORTUNITIES is expected to host over 450 Ghanaian and American companies.

GHANA EXPO 2004 aims to showcase the vast untapped trade and investment opportunities in Ghana. It also seeks to promote Ghana as a rich and reliable source of raw materials, finished products, and quality and affordable labour. The exhibition will also run concurrently with sessions of seminars to be addressed by government delegates and business executives from Ghana and the US.

GHANA EXPO 2004 will be held at the prestigious Georgia World Congress Centre (GWCC) from the 23rd to 26th September 2004 which is within close proximity of historic Georgia Dome, the CNN studios, Centennial Olympic Park and the Philips Arena.

Participants and officials of the fair would be accommodated at the Omni Hotel at the CNN centre, a four-star facility which is immediately adjacent to the Georgia World Congress Centre. Agreement to that effect was signed between the officials of the EXPO AFRICA and the Omni Hotel, CNN Centre last week. GHANA EXPO 2004 would also seek to collaborate with prospective business communities in the US, other government and non-governmental agencies to ensure the success of the event. This includes the office of the Mayor of Atlanta, the office of the Governor of Atlanta, the US Embassy in Accra etc. To this effect an agreement has been reached in principle with the Georgia AGOA Commission to handle the matchmaking of Ghanaian and US businesses.

Expo Africa Ltd has engaged the services of Destiny Agencies, an Atlanta based event-management company and African Communications Agency to manage the operational and public relations aspects of the event respectively.

Owing to heightened security situation in the United States and to accommodate the stringent visa procedure at the US embassy all prospective participants are advised to register as early as at the office of the EXPO AFRICA at the GRACE HOUSE at Danquah Circle in Accra.
