This development, he said, followed the completion of a comprehensive campaign strategies and planning drawn up by the national executive to win as many votes as possible in the elections.

The Deputy General-Secretary charged the party's functionaries to gear most of their activities towards campaigning for the party at the grassroots where they were most needed to win the rural votes.

"Now that Ghanaians have tasted what is good and bad, the NDC will pool resources not only to sustain its strongholds, but will also break new grounds," he added.

Baba Sheriff, National Co-ordinator of the party's zongo communities, called on them to rally behind the party to regain power to end what he termed "political casualties" they have suffered since the NPP took over power.

He advised the party's supporters not to hesitate to offer suggestions that would ensure the way forward for the party.
