Modi To Visit NE India On Feb 22
Guwahati, February 21 : BJP's prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi will visit to NE India on February 22.
Modi will take part three rallies in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and Tripura during his day long schedule.
Assam state BJP said that, Modi will address Vijay Sankalp Abhiyan rally at Pashighat in Arunachal Pradesh around 11 am and later he will address an another rally at Silchar in Assam on February 22.
"Modi have been addressed a rally at Agartala in Tripura on same day during his day long schedule to NE India," a top official of BJP said.
Security have been beefed up at Pashighat, Silchar and Agartala, where state police, Gujarat police and NSG team have arranged tight security after Union Home Ministry and Intelligence Bureau (IB) had sounded probable terror attack on the BJP's Prime Ministerial candidate.
"We have arranged all security measures at the rally ground in Silchar, where at least 1500 security personnel of Assam police, para military forces have been deployed," Assam Police ADGP (Law & Order) AP Raut said.
Modi was addressed a huge gathering rally at Guwahati on February 8.
On other hand, Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi to visit Assam on February 25 and 26, while TMC leader Mamta Banerjee schedule to the state on February 26.
