He gave the assurance that the school authorities would collaborate efforts with parents and students to ensure discipline necessary for effective academic work. The headmaster was speaking when Mr Kwaku Bram-Larbi, a legal practitioner and leader of the schools' past students, presented books valued five million cedis to the alma mater at Akim Oda. Mr Joseph Appiah, a London-based past student of the school donated the books.

Mr Afosah-Anim praised the past students for contributing to the development of the educational institution. Mr Bram-Larbi appealed to students of the school to learn hard to enable them pass their examinations to justify the huge investments being made in their education. Dr Kwame George Aning, a member of the group, also asked them to avoid sexual promiscuity; drug abuse, prostitution, armed robbery and other vices that might affect their development. He said the group would continue to work assiduously to improve academic performance of the students.
