Oti Akenten backs Kwesi Appiah’s criteria for selection

The criteria set by the Black Stars coach for selection is that unattached players will not be considered but players who don't get regular play with their clubs could be considered if they have good track records with the national team.

Speaking to, he said, “Kwesi has set the criteria for the selection of players into the national team, so if any player meets the requirement he would be called and that is good.”

He added that he is optimistic Ghana will do well in the mundial in Brazil.

“Ghana will go far in the World Cup, because our players will make an impact, said the CAF instructor.”

Ghana plays its first game in the FIFA World Cup against USA on 16th June in Natal
