Accra, March 24 GNA - Evangelist Yao Paul, National Evangelist of the Apostolic Church of Ghana last night called on Christians to make prayer their weapon in life.

Evangelist Paul, who speaking at a crusade organised by the Kwashiebu Assembly of the Apostolic Church, said prayerful life was the only weapon against the devices of the devil.

The six-day crusade, which is being held under the theme: "Go Ye", has brought together members from the Madina and Dansoman branches of the Church to support the crusade.

Evangelist Paul said the first Church was a prayerful one and that was why members were able to withstand some of the temptations that came their way.

He said if the hand of the Lord were on one's enemy, one could go to sleep.

Evangelist Paul urged Christians to preach the gospel to enable sinners to turn away from their sinful way of life. He said the only thing that could bring people to Christ was for them to obey His commandments and be prayerful.

The miracle session of the crusade saw people with spiritual problems and infirmities being prayed for.
