Towards NPP Regional Elections: Ashanti Youth Roots For Kwaku Frimpong

Several youths in the Ashanti region have declared their support for Kwaku Frimpong, one of the candidates contesting for the region's youth organizer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).

The youths made up of both students and non students, according to this paper's investigations have vowed to do everything within their might to enhance Kwaku's victory come Saturday January 25th, 2014.

For his exemplary leadership among the youth of the party in the region, the youth are of strong admonishing that he is the only person who can lead his cohorts in the region to win massive votes for the elephant fraternity.

Going through some tertiary educational institutions like the Mampong College of Education where he was a once the TESCON president, Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, University College of Education-Winneba, Kumasi campus (UCEW-K), Kumasi Polytechnic and some others it was realized that Kwaku had massive support among TESCON executives in these schools.

“We have been with him for years and we know what stuff he's made up of hence our open declaration of support for him, Asafo Adjei, an Executive Member of the UCEW-K branch of Tertiary Students Confederacy (TESCON) told this reporter adding that he was really committed even without any inducement.

The youth in the regional branch of the party, he noted, is in dire need of a leader who is affable and would always be available for them and, having worked with him for so many years in various areas of the party there was no need to vote for any other person.

Mr. Michael Fosu Afriyie, a polling station secretary at Asokwa constituency and Prince Boateng also a youth leader both pledged their unflinching support for Mr. Kwaku Frimpong whom they said had shown great dedication to the party from his days as a grass root member till date.

“He has won my admiration and that of the youth in the region due to his humble and approachable nature and in addition he is also very respectful towards every Tom, Dick and Harry in the party”, Fosu Afriyie noted with passion.

“We know Kwaku's massive contribution towards youth mobilization in this region that is why we can openly vouch for him anytime”, he added.

Kwaku Frimpong who is a founding member of the Tertiary Students Confederacy (TESCON) of the NPP is a well known and respected figure among the youth in the region due to his great leadership skills and selfless way of service to the party.

He spearheaded the formation of TESCON branches in Nursing training colleges and Colleges of Education across the Ashanti region.

He is in the race with two other candidates known as Dennis Kwakwa and Justin Kodua.
