He Grants Half Of Our Wishes

Feature Article He Grants Half Of Our Wishes
JAN 20, 2014 LISTEN

A man who had lived and enjoyed all the mundane things that the world could offer was told he had to die. The man cried and begged God to give him just a few more years. The man promised to serve God faithfully always after.

God heeded and granted the man his wishes. He was promised to live half of the time he requested to live.

Even at 80, most people still beg to live another 20 years. Hoping God always grants half of our wishes, many people who begged to live another 20 years in 2004 have lived 10 years already.

In 1995, I had imprisoned President Paul Biya on my mind's jail. He was closely connected to human rights violations, undemocratic practices and bad governance.

During the 1992 Presidential Elections, Biya chose a roaring lion and misty clouds for the images accompanying his campaign message. Two years earlier, many Cameroonians were killed for protesting peacefully for change. The message was Biya must go.

The momentum for Biya's departure culminated in Cameroonians jubilating in August 2004 after rumors that the 70 year old president had passed away in Europe during one of his dozen annual trips.

It was a defiant Biya who said “… all those waiting for my death should prepare for my funeral in 20 years.”

If this was the humble prayer from the 70 year old in 2004, it meant he expected to live to 90. Even as a Rosicrucian and practicing Catholic, Biya would have understood that God grants his faithful followers half of their wishes. Half of Biya's wishes expressed on the media after rumors of his death is 10 years. It means Biya must prepare to live this life in or after August 2014.

If Biya requested to live another 20 years and was granted 10 years, what is his balance sheet as a faithful servant of God All Mighty?

Just in October 2004, Biya stole by rigging the Presidential elections. His ruling Cameroon Peoples Democratic Movement (CPDM) has rigged all elections organized in Cameroon. Rigging elections is stealing. Stealing goes on in all ministries under the watchful eyes of Biya. Most of those embezzling and mismanaging Cameroon's resources supported and abetted Biya during all rigged elections. One of the 10 commandments proscribes stealing.

In 2008, hundreds of Cameroonians were killed throughout the country for striking against the rising cost of basic commodities.

Protest is a fundamental right granted all Cameroonians and the community of mankind by the constitutions of their countries and international conventions and covenants. The 10 commandments in the Holy Bible that Biya and his supporters read, proscribes killing. From 2005, many students were killed at the University of Buea. Many journalists have been jailed and some killed. Many Cameroonians in different walks of life have suffered many indignities and died since 2004.

Biya's human rights or moral slate does not edify his God and does not show gratefulness for having 10 more years added to his life. For what service to Cameroonians and humanity was he asking for 20 more years? After half of those 20 years were granted him, would he be asking for some more years to maltreat his fellowman?

Some prophets of God have added their voices to mine to say this 2014 would be a year of great changes in Cameroon. In one of my reports to Biya about injustice in Cameroon, I told him 2014 was a year all Cameroonian headaches would be cured. Has Biya been a solution to Cameroon's headaches or he himself is that headache?

To many apologists, I am probably just thinking aloud. These thoughts are my sincere prayer for Cameroon's headache to be cured. If that headache was my mother or myself, God has heeded the prayer and Cameroon will see a new dawn this year. No Biya man would stop this change that is about to happen. No over zealot would stop me as none can stop God's plan for mankind. So all those coming to me with charges of defamation and treason should be ready to be crushed by a Divine Army stationed in my realm.
