President's Despatch Rider involved in an accident

Police Sergeant Kennedy Annor, one of the President's Despatch Riders, was involved in a motor accident on Friday. The victim was rushed to the Intensive Care Unit of the 37 Military Hospital. An Eyewitness told newsmen that the accident occurred in the vicinity of the President's Residence when a Nissan Patrol belonging to the Libyan Embassy ran into the Rider while turning to enter their new office. The rider was thrown off the motorbike and crashed onto the ground. He sustained head injuries and was rushed to the Hospital. When the GNA visited the hospital, the rider was in stable condition.
