All Set For 1st Ghana HR Confab And Awards

All is set for the much anticipated 1st Ghana HR Conference and Excellence Awards.

The event dubbed, 'Achieving Excellence through Human Resource Optimization,' is scheduled to take place at the La Palm Royal Beach Hotel in Accra.

The conference, which comprises an HR exhibition and a forum, would take place on the 4th of October 2013 and this would precede the excellence awards, which comes off on the night of 5th October, 2013.

On 4th October 2013, the exhibition would offer a platform where HR departments of various corporate entities would be given the opportunity to showcase some of the processes involved in their human capital management to achieve set organizational goals. This platform will therefore bring together people from the world of work who are interested in the HR processes of organizations.

Alongside the exhibition, the Vodafone HR Forum, which is strictly by invitation, would bring HR practitioners and other players in the industry together to share, learn and deliberate on HR management and its current trends. Topics to be discussed at the forum include Management of Labour Crises in Ghana, HR's Contribution to Competitiveness, How to Exploit IT in the World of Work and The SSPS: Impact on the Private Sector Economy.

October 5, 2013 is the night for the excellence awards.

According to organizers – Institute of Human Resource Management Practitioners, Ghana and HR Focus magazine (L'AINE Services) – the award scheme is meant to recognize and honour human resource practitioners and companies who have excelled at promoting HR best practices in their workplaces.

With Charter House as event organizers and the eloquent and indefatigable Anita Erskine – Founder, the Reverbgh Project and BrandWoman Africa – as MC, the event promises to be nothing short of thrilling.
