The company has changed its operations from giving out loans to a micro finance company.

This has resulted in the organisation's name to change from Sinapi Aba Trust to Sinapi Aba Savings and Loans Company.

The Chief Programmes Officer, Mrs Joyce Owusu-Dabo, told the Daily Graphic in an interview that her outfit had been given a license by the Bank of Ghana to operate as a savings and loans company.

According to her, for the past 13 years that the company had operated in Agona Swedru, it was only giving out financial assistance to micro, small and medium scale entrepreneurs but with the change in its operations, it would now mobilise deposits from their target groups and give them loans as well.

She stated that the new outlook would now provide a platform for the company to provide holistic financial services to its cherished customers.

She explained further that the company would engage in lots of educational campaign and media publicity to create awareness of its new operations.

Mrs Owusu-Dabo urged the public to continue to have confidence and trust in the company since it offered unparalleled customer service, especially to low income earners.
