On the 17th /Sept./2013, it has come to the notice of Ghanaians that the revered King of Abeadzeman state His Majesty, Honourable Daasebre Kwebu Ewusi VII (Omanhen/Paramount Chief of Abeadze tradional area, the Second term un-opposed President of Central Regional House of Chiefs & Immediate past member of council of state) has being appointed as Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) board member by H.E JDM, Big congratulation!!.

Abeadzeman is very proud of you and we know very well without shred of doubt that you will put all your experiences, rich wisdom and above all your great knowledge in governance to bare in support of the board Chairman in making ECG one of the best sector in Ghana.

Other board members are Dr. Kwasi Apea Kubi, Hon. John Jinapor, Dr. Ofosu Ahenkorah, Dr. Clement Abavana, Samuel Cudjoe, Eunice Comnashar and the Managing Director the Company Hutton Mensah with Industrialist and former President of the Association of Ghana Industries, Tony Oteng Gyasi as the Chairman.

It is also worth mentioning that Daasebre Kwebu Ewusi VII great grandfather the Abeadzeman's first revered King, Daasebre Kwebu Ewusi I enviably bears signatory to the famous 1844 bond. The 1844 bond serves as a famous document that has set the time table for the nation's independence from the British rule.
