ABL presents cheque for GH¢14,000 to Graphic

Accra Brewery Limited (ABL) has presented a cheque for GH¢14,045.00 to the Graphic Communications Group Limited (GCGL) as its share of the cost of organising this year's Adabraka Free Healthcare programme, jointly run by the two companies.

The amount is half of this year's estimated organising cost of GH¢28,090. The balance will be provided by GCGL.

Graphic and ABL have, for five years running, been organising free health screening for the people of Adabraka in Accra, where the head offices of the two companies are located.

This year, they will also pay for the National Health Insurance registration fees of about 800 children and the aged in the community, when the event takes place on Saturday, September 7, 2013, at the St Joseph Catholic School, at Adabraka.

This year's cost of organising the programme shows a slight increase over last year's cost of GH¢24,000.

Ms Adjoba Kyiamah, the Director of Corporate and Legal Affairs of Accra Brewery Limited (ABL), presented the cheque, which was received by Mr Erasmus Akuffo-Badoo, the Chief Internal Auditor of GCGL, on behalf of his company.

Mr Cyrus de-Graft Johnson of ABL and Mr Hope Adusu, acting Director of Marketing, GCGL, were at the presentation ceremony.
