Nkawie (Ash), Feb 4, GNA- Mr Baffour Asare-Bediako, Chairman of the Board of Governors of Nkawie Secondary/Technical School, has commended the tutors and students of the school for their academic performance in last year's Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSSCE).
He also commended the school authorities for maintaining a high level of discipline in the school by creating a healthy and congenial environment for effective teaching and learning.
Mr Asare-Bediako, who is the Assistant Director of Education in-charge of Human Resource Management and Development at the Atwima District, made the commendation on Tuesday when the school's board members interacted with the school authorities and students to review their academic performance at Nkawie in Ashanti.
He gave the assurance that the tutors would be adequately catered for as incentives have been provided to motivate them to improve upon their achievements.
He suggested to the tutors to intensify the engagement of students in extra classes after the school's normal hours to enable them to cover the syllabus.
Mr P. Aguri-Amanfoh, Headmaster of the school, expressed his appreciation and gratitude to the tutors, students and all those who contributed to the improvement of academic performance in the school.
