Please Can Ghana Education Service (GES) and NCCE come out to correct the following errors.
There is the need to educate us on how to write the names or words below properly.
There are some names or words which are wrongly spelt in our books and on the internet as well.
I believe the Okyeman Council can come out to educate the general public on the correct writing of names for the benefit of the future generation.
(1) Akyem Instead Of Akim. the reason is that, we can say Akyemfo) but not Akimfo). Okyeman but not Okimman.
(2) Is it Kyebi or Kibi?
(3) Is it Okyenhene or Okyehene?
Also the Akuapem Traditional Council must come out to clarify these two names.
(3) Is it Akuapem or Akwapim?
This one also goes to Bank Of Ghana, they must come out to explain how our currency must be pronounced.
(4) Ghanaian Cedis or Ghana cedis. What I know is an Adjective describes a Noun, but a noun cannot describe a noun.
I believe there are more names or words which for the sake of ignorance being misspelt. Let's have the time to correct all these errors.
I stand to be corrected if my corrections on the above names or words are wrong.

We have so many examples, like, Quashie for Kwesi, Quarcoo for Kweku, Kwofie for Kofi, Cudjoe for Kodwo ,Menah for Mensa and a whole lot of stuff like that. The idea is good. Maybe a book can be put together .It is up to all Ghanaians to chip in. The bottom line is that the English man's pronunciation of Ghanaian names necessitated the spelling to be pro-English language . Nothing wrong in principle. But hav...
