Guwahati, August 23 : West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Friday visited Kamakhya Temple at Guwahati.
Accompanied by former Union Railway minister Mukul Roy, the West Bengal CM had arrived at Borjhar airport and visited the historic temple.
'It is my personal visit and I offered my prayer to goddess Kamakhya,' the West Bengal CM said.
'I consider myself extremely lucky that my wish has been fulfilled today and promised to again visit in next few months,' Mamata said.
Banerjee further said that, it was her second visit to Assam and she sanctioned 22 trains to the state as the Railway minister.
