Accra, Jan. 9, GNA - The National Reconciliation Commission has since Monday January 5, 2004 resumed sitting in Accra after the Christmas break.
Hearings in Accra would continue till Thursday, January 15, 2004, and move to Ho from Monday, January 19 2004, to Friday January 30, 2004. The venue for the hearings in Ho would be the Regional House of Chiefs Hall. A release from Commission, signed by its Public Affairs Director, Ms Annie Anipa, said the Commission would be back in Accra on Monday February 2, 2004 to continue hearings.
In-camera hearings would be conducted in Accra from Monday February 16 2004 to Wednesday February 18, 2004.
Hearings would be conducted in Cape Coast from February 23 2004 to March 5 2004.
In the remaining months, the Commission would hold public hearings in the regional capitals as follows: Sunyani and Kumasi: March 22 2004 to April 7 2004; Wa, Bolgatanga and Tamale: May 3 2004 to May 21 2004; and Koforidua: June 7 2004 June 18 2004.
The Commission said it would announce the venues for the hearings in Cape Coast and the other regional capitals in due course.
