Those of us from the other side of the river
The remnants at the dead end
Those of us believed to be non-human
The wandering creatures in the den
Those of us who bled to death
The slaves right from birth
Those of us who crept from nowhere to life
The independent flesh that fought against rife
After the appearance of the Madeba
We thought life had got a meaning
Man doesn't live long to have a taste of his labor
After all the toils we go through straight from our beginning
Longevity powerlessly succumbs to ubiquitous death
And pain becomes a scar at our back right from birth.
